I have seem that they have translated 4 ancient books into english, including the delightful title

Actually I was just curious about who the translator of these books is. This seems to be the fourth publication in a series of translations of classic chinese texts.

It seems the publisher is an independant.

where he explains why he started translating the books, and give links to purchase them.

I'm really surprised that someone could translate and publish them all alone without any major advertizing or merely any mentions on go forums.

I just read another (old) of his websites, ruoshi is nobody else than "rsun" on kgs. You may want to ask him directly.
