Petit complément sur ce que propose Cho Seokbin à Nagoya. Ci-dessous sa présentation, désolé c'est en anglais... :
Introduction
Hello, my name is Cho Seokbin.
My current European rating is 2801.
I lived in Europe from 2005 to 2008 before moving to Japan to teach Japanese Inseis. While I lived in Europe, I successfully participated in many tournaments and held Go workshops in various cities.
I’m currently living in Nagoya, Japan. I have own my go club and Insei School here.
Around 10 students study to become a pro, and around 10 people visit my go club to play Go for fun.
One of my students became a Nihon Kiin professional last year as well.
Now, I’m offering to study Go in my school in Japan.
You can study with Japanese Inseis and I will help you to improve your Go.
Many people are interested to study Go in Japan, but it is not easy to get such an opportunity.
It will be a great experience for your Go life!
Study Go
The Go club is in the western part of Nagoya, 10 min. by metro from Nagoya main station.
It is open every day from 13:00 to 20:00(except Thursday, when the Go club closes).
There will be teaching games and reviews by a teacher.
You will play games with other students or go club’s members.
The training involves solving a lot of life or death problems, josekis, analysis of pro games, etc.
The teachers are fluent in English, Japanese and Korean
Accommodation
You will stay at my relative’s place.
The place is outside the city of Nagoya, around 30min by train from Nagoya main station.
It will take around 50 min. to reach the go club.
We will provide you breakfast and dinner (Japanese home style food), laundry service is also included.
We can take only 2-3 people each month.
If you would like to come, you should hurry for reservation
We will try our best to make you comfortable.
Price
100,000 yen/ 1month. (Study and accommodation included).
it’s around 750 Euros or 950 US dollars. But it is subject exchange rate change, of course.
You should ask me if you stay longer or shorter. The rate is cheaper if you only study Go and look for your accommodation on your own.
Who can join
Any Go player, regardless of age, sex or country, is welcome to join this program.
However, we believe that only players stronger than 5kyu can fully utilize the benefits of this program because for weaker players it could be hard to follow the lessons.
Which expenses are not included
1. Lunch. (you can get meals for around 600-1000 yen in a normal restaurant)
2. Train and metro fees from home to Go club.
(from home to Go club, the monthly ticket costs bit less than 25000 yen)
3. Expenses for sightseeing or private entertainment
Nagoya
